For those of you arriving here for the first time, you’ve already been invited to stay current, therefore, I’ll get right to the concept. Which should give you a clue. If you don’t even know what The 168 Project is, then go there, and come back. I’ll wait.
So, you’ve set out to make a 168 Project film, have you? Great!! I’ll see you on verse selection night. Otherwise, you probably want to know why the other day, when I related to my good friend that I’m making two films, her response was, “What? Are you crazy?” To which I replied, “Quite possibly, yes.”
One Team
For those that have been following this blog for any length of time, you know that I’m creating two films for The 168 Project this year. So, technically, I have two teams. Those of you that have been paying attention, (You didn’t know I was charging attention, did you?) <insert evil laugh here> know that last season, I created a movie in competition, coming soon to a WalMart rack near you, AND a music video trailer out of the main competition, for the trailer competition. I did that all with one team.
Two Films
This season, that’s right, there is a 168 season, which means, you can hunt them, all I need to do is move the production of the trailer up a week. This will mean that I’ll effectively be shooting a music video at the same time. Brilliant! Even if I do say so myself. So again technically, not two films, but a film and a music video.
Three Outcomes
There are actually more, but the basic outcomes are, both films make the Best of 168 2012 DVD, only one does, or neither do. The last would depress me, but these things happen as movies are subjective. Although, Blue Blazes is on the 2011 DVD, and I think you can purchase that at their site. Which you’ve already gone to, and hopefully come back from. You could purchase The Blue Blazes DVD from me, however, a terrible tragedy has befallen my Super Drive. That’s right, it got exposed to Kryptonite. Or the random equivalent from the Blaziverse. And it doesn’t even wear a cape!!!
Not to worry, I’ll farm that out, but these things take time. So, an appropriate call to action would be to pray, give, and then pray some more. Wash, rinse, repeat. Any amount is cool. May I suggest a penny per follower?
I’ve been told you can pray at the PrayMore, but I’ve never found it. I know where the Buy More is, but the closest one is in Burbank. Right near the 168 Project offices. Therefore, stopping by the closest church within walking distance will probably suffice. Hint: Any distance is walking distance, if you’re willing to walk that far.
To my #CoWorking friends, pass the word. Tell your friends that aren’t necessarily Co-Working with us, to stop by and leave a comment.
For the rest of you, you don’t have to be CoWorking to leave a comment, so, you should do that anyways.
Have I covered all my bases?
Let me know in the comment fields below.
That’s my story. Hope you enjoyed it™
